Should i get a SCSI or Atapi CD writer?

I want a CD writer. Should I choose a SCSI or an Atapi/IDE drive?

Atapi drives are cheaper, need no additional hardware and work well. SCSIs deliver more consistent performance under demanding conditions. However, they are more expensive, need an adapter card, and setup is complicated. It's only worth it if you're also considering adding other SCSI devices.
